SUMMARY:Thames Valley Otology Symposium
DESCRIPTION:Overview \nThe symposium has been designed to bring together o
 tologists\, ENT trainees from across the Thames Valley and nationally\, and
  allied healthcare professionals – including audiologists\, speech and la
 nguage therapists\, and outpatient nursing staff. It aims to foster collabo
 ration\, deliver high-quality education\, and share best practice across th
 e full breadth of the otology community. \nCourse structure \nOver the co
 urse of the day\, there will be presentations from local centres of excelle
 nce\, debates on key topics in otology\, and opportunities to interact with
  experts in the field. The programme will include a mix of didactic lecture
 s and more informal discussions. In addition\, local poster presentations w
 ill be exhibited\, with prizes awarded. \nObjectives \nThis inaugural sy
 mposium has been designed to: \n\n\nDeliver high-quality\, accessible oto
 logy education for trainees at all levels alongside consultant colleagues
  \n\n\nPromote multidisciplinary learning between surgical\, audiological\
 , nursing\, and speech and language therapy teams \n\n\nShowcase emergin
 g research and innovation through oral presentations and keynote lectures

 llaboration. It is particularly suited to audiologists\, speech and languag
 e therapists\, outpatient nursing staff\, as well as ENT trainees and consu
 ltants. While delegates will predominantly be from the Thames Valley regi
 on\, attendees and abstract submissions from across the UK are warmly wel
 comed. \nCost\nThe symposium is free to all attendees thanks to generous
